PSL offers a full line of bullet resistant transaction windows using UL listed transparent materials and ballistic lined frames. Whether interior or exterior, PSL will customize each transaction window per the customer's specifications. Bullet resistant transaction windows allow for creative custom designs. The customer can choose from an array of bullet resistant voice port designs, including horizontal, arched, circular and vertical designs fabricated using bullet resistant polycarbonate or acrylic. PSL can also provide a ballistic lined counter top with plastic laminate finish or in stainless steel for added protection. The transaction counter includes a ballistic lined, recessed, stainless steel deal tray allowing employees to safely complete customer transactions. When designing bullet resistant transaction windows, Protective Structures 
recommends using polycarbonate. Pictured to the right is a 12" x 12" piece of polycarbonate that has been shot 3 times in close proximity. As you can see, the polycarbonate captures the bullet entirely. In a cash transaction area,, this ensures protection of your customers as well as your employees. Other bullet resistant plastics can produce spall or ricochet and thus endanger your most valuable asset, your customers.
